part 5
even
though we were basically dating at this point, i still didn’t want to put “the
label” on our relationship (because once you put a label on it, it makes it
official) and honestly i was enjoying the way things were going. we were
friends who went out on a lot of dates and i liked it that way.
One night (january
19th) we were watching a movie at his house. –---by the way, he
lived with a few of his friends in the most ghetto little house, behind a bar
and grill. so just picture this romantic scene haha—anyway, we were watching a
movie and just sitting there talking when the subject of being official
girlfriend-boyfriend came up again. well of course i’m still being totally
hesitant about it so branden decides “let’s just try it out, just be my
girlfriend and if it ends up being weird we can go back to normal”. believe it
or not, i took the bait! i agreed to give it a try and guess what? it wasn’t weird
at all. it was actually the opposite of weird. and being able to call him my
boyfriend made me like him even more.
fast
forward a few months… we were at my house watching ABDC (america’s best dance
crew) and branden looks at me and says “i think i’m falling in love with you”,
which freeeeaaakkss me OUT! clearly i wasn’t ready to say that back to him.
poor guy haha. not to worry though, a few weeks later when i was leaving his
house i said it--- “i love you” and what do you know… he said it back.
to be
continued…
