Christmas 2014

this year Christmas was really low key. 

it was nice though.

we spent Christmas Eve at Branden's parents house.

we all went to church together, and then came home and opened presents and ate dinner.

i was trying to get a picture of kroz in his christmas jammies under the tree... but this was as good as it got haha

we went home and went to sleep....

and SANTA CAME!

Christmas morning we woke up and opened our stockings

we opened presents from each other and my sisters came over to open 

presents from our family in arizona!

then we went to my moms to open presents and this is literally the only picture i took. and its sideways haha

a little later we went with branden's parents and his sister to the movie.

we saw Unbroken.

it was really long but it was a really good story.

and look at this little Christmas angel looking out at the snow.

we have a WALKER!

Christmas eve-eve I was snap chatting pictures of krozby

to a friend (hi sara!) and telling her krozby could

stand on his own, but no walking yet...

literally the second i sent her the picture of him standing,

he turned around and WALKED away!!

seriously my jaw was on the floor because i was not expecting it!

and now he is a pro. seriously.

he just took off and hasn't slowed down!

so crazy!!

Krozby's first birthday PARTY!

well, there is one more!

KROZBY'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!

so for his party we decided to do it at an arcade 

(branden has a big family and there's no way everyone would fit in our house and it's too cold to have a party outside!!)

we decided to have a pacman themed invitation made by my brother-in-law

we ordered a bunch of pizza and tokens and everyone played games and hung out!

plus the birthday boy got very spoiled!!

once he opened that bouncy ball, he didn't care about any of his other gifts!

we haven't even made a dent in setting up all the new toys he got!!

we're so thankful to our family and friends who came out to celebrate with us!!

what a year it has been.....

this little boy has brought so much joy to it!!

Krozby's FIRST birthday!

on December 9th our little krozby turned 1!!

i had to work but i went to lunch with the little man

he even got his own free dessert!

that night we had cake and ice cream with our immediate family

the poor bubba ended up getting sick (or maybe he was just teething?) but he was miserable at his little party we had for him.

he wasn't really into his cake or his presents...

he just wanted to be held.

sad way to spend your first birthday party!!

luckily we are having a big get together tomorrow so hopefully he will have a little more fun!!

we love this little boy of ours!!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY KROZBY!! 

krozby 12 months

you guys....

krozby is finally ONE.

it is so sad! 

i can't believe how fast 12 months go by.

look at that tiny baby boy who has grown into a toddler!!

it's so fun to see side by side monthly updates to see just how much he's grown!!

i'm so glad i took these :)

we went in for krozby's 12 month check up today

height- 29 1/2in    36%

weight- 17lbs 13oz   5%

head- 47 1/2cm   86%

besides the fact that he is scrawny, he is a healthy baby!

he got 3 shots today... and like usual he hated it ha.

at 12 months krozby....

drinks half formula, half milk (just transitioning him over to 100% milk) every 3 hours still

wears size 4 diapers

wears size 12 month clothes

has 2 teeth

is a beast to put to bed. both at night and for a nap

takes 2 naps a day

loves to pretend he's talking on the phone

eats baby food and normal food (depending what we're eating)

can drink out of a straw

plays with his hair when he is tired

can stand on his own for seconds (sometimes longer) at a time

has a pretty nice mullet coming along haha

has quite the attitude (he screams so loud and throws fits now, yikes!)

babbles alllll the time

dances to music

gives the best kisses

plays peek-a-boo

gives high fives

he is still in his infant car seat because he is small enough to still fit in it ha! i have been contemplating putting him in a toddler seat but he still will fall asleep in the car so i'm torn...

he waves bye bye

he is super ticklish 

i'm sure i'm missing a bunch of stuff... but here are some pics of his 12th month of life!

Allgergist appointment

krozby has had eczema since he was a little baby.

after starting some creams and steroids his skin has cleared up a lot!!

unfortunately his hands have never gotten better. 

he constantly itches them and rubs them on anything he can. 

since he just turned 1 it was time to transition him from formula to milk.

we decided before we did that, we should take him to an allergist to see if a milk allergy could be the cause of his eczema. 

they did a couple of different tests on his back to see which (if any) caused a reaction

after they put the patches of stuff on his back we had to wait 15 minutes to see the results

well surprisingly he isn't allergic to milk. 

he did have a slight reaction to eggs, peanuts, dogs, and cats.

so for now, we will avoid those things.

a lot of times babies grow out of allergies so hopefully it won't be forever!!

we also aren't sure if it's one of these things that is causing the eczema in his hands to be so persistent. the doctor prescribed an antihistamine that we will start and see if it helps his skin itching at all. 

so we will cross our fingers and see what happens!!!
