Memorial Day and Mr. Krozby

this memorial day we went out to the cemetery to visit jake and put flowers on 

his headstone. 

this is the first time i've been out to the cemetery on memorial day & it was so

cool to see how many flowers were out there!

we sure miss jacob. <3

i don't know what age most people are when they start dreading their birthday.
but i am not there yet!
i still love my birthday.
it's one of my favorite days of the year :)

this year my birthday landed on a saturday
so i had a full day to celebrate!

the day started off going to breakfast with my boys.
we went to denny's and i got the free birthday grand slam!
(i know denny's isn't most peoples first choice, but we like it!)

after breakfast my mom took krozby for a few hours
while branden and i went birthday shopping and
to a movie.

that night we went with some of my family to
red lobster for dinner and then went to branden's
parents and sat out by the fire pit.

sunday we got together with my family
and brandens family for dinner and the traditional fruit pizza dessert.

and that's how i spent my 24th birthday weekend.
it was a good one!

krozby 5 months

oh my heck...

i am beyond obsessed with this baby.

he's just the most perfect little angel and the biggest blessing i've ever received! 

i could go on for days about how much i love him!!

currently krozby....

... eats 4-5 ounces every 3 hours

... is sleeping through the night

... slobbers like crazy

... is getting lighter hair by the day (i swear he's gonna be blonde!)

... loves sucking on his hands

... finally rolled over! 

... doesn't love rice cereal

... loves bath time 

... hates to have a blanket on his legs (he kicks it off every time)

... loves holding moms hands when he goes to sleep

... loves to touch dads face (maybe the scruff on his beard?) 

he has gotten into a pretty good schedule and usually takes about 3 good long(ish) naps a day. on my days off i take advantage of his morning nap so i get to sorta sleep in.

he's good to his momma!

((the other day branden had him while i judged a cheer try out. krozby fell asleep for him around 9:30 and didn't wake up until 12:45! idk how he got that lucky!))

he just keeps getting more fun the older he gets!

it's sad how fast the time is going but we are loving seeing him grow and change every day!

he's the best little babe and we just can't get enough of him!!

what's new

the weather has started to get nice (for the most part)

so we took krozby out to luke's baseball game!

my friend, jessica
is moving so we went and hung out/sorta helped pack
(as much as you can help with 2 babies)

if you've read my blog before,
you know we decided to change krozby's name after jake passed away.
we finally got his birth certificate amended.
happy day :)

i tried sushi for the first time this weekend.
i can tell you this-- i love me some soy sauce,
but not so much a fan of the sushi.

lastly... sometimes when you're sending out snaps
you get some classic baby faces.

if looks kinda like he has teeth in that pic ^^^
he doesn't!
