What a crock!

Well I've said it before and I'll say it again 

We can't cook.

When we got married I really wanted to get a crock pot because it seemed SO easy to cook with, right? Just throw in the ingredients, turn it on, let it cook.

Wrong.

Such an epic fail.

Bachelor Ben

Here's a little bachelor review for everyone.

First of all I'm not a big fan of Ben.

I know he's pretty nice yada yada yada....

I just don't think he's all that cute to be honest. 

....and his taste in women is terrible.

When Courtney walked out of the limo the first night he said something along the lines of

"wow she is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen"

WHAAAA??? Jokes? Serious?!

I realize she doesn't look exactly like this dog.

I feel like she looks like some dog but I can't figure out what one haha

I dunno how she is a model but whatevz. She might be a little cuter if she wasn't such a fake, bratty, jerko. Winning.

I hope Kacie B takes the whole thing.

She gets kinda whiny and jealous but she my fav.

So there really hasn't been a lot going on around here. 

But here is what we've been doinnnn--

I helped throw a baby shower for my cutest preggo friend Jessica who should be having her baby Crew within a week or so!

It was my sister Ashley's birthday on January 17th!

Her and Casey (husband) came to visit for the weekend and we had a little birthday dinner for her.

You know when you're watching a movie or TV show and you pause it and the face is hi-larious? Branden and I were watching the final episode of the OC and he paused it at this spot. Needless to say we died laughing. Ok, we are a little odd. But it was great.

Birthday

Branden's birthday started off by sleeping in (or attempting to, between all of the texts and phone calls) 
When he woke up I gave him his presents from me. 
I surprised him and ordered a couple of shirts and a pair of shoes that he wanted.
After his presents we went and had a lovely lunch at Wingers.

By the time we got our food we were already so full off of popcorn and soda so we got our free birthday asphalt pie to go. Yum!


After lunch Branden went and got a massage. I bought him one for Christmas and he scheduled it for his birthday. Works for me, kind of like a double gift :)


We had dinner with his family and then went over to his parents to open presents and have birthday cheesecake :)

I think all and all he had a pretty great birthday!
He got spoiled but he deserves it.

My sweet husband turns 24 today.

To celebrate his 24 years of existence I thought I would share 24 unknown facts about him...

(Go ahead and die over this picture right now)

1. He loves to listen to the bath water run. Like, obsessively.

2. He has a thing about whistling his s's. Like cute little grandpas do. ha.

3. He would rather take a bath then a shower. Weirdo.

4. Last year I got him hooked on Prison Break and he loves it!

5. His favorite candy is Twizzlers. 

6. He claims to not like Chinese food. But really I think he loves it.

7. After high school he dyed his hair black. Vomit.

8. He wants to grow his hair and beard out for the rest of the year. Considering it is only January and it is out of control lets hope he changes his mind.

9. His favorite shoes are Vans.

10. He is undefeated in the ski jump on Wii. Well I actually have him beat muahaha

11. He likes to watch the OC while I try to sleep and laugh out loud. He takes LOL to a whole new level people.
12. He is a good dancer. For real.
13. His nickname is "Kyfe"and that's what basically everyone knows him as.
14. Currently his favorite soda is Mountain Dew.
15. He enjoys an occasional pedicure.
16. He wishes we had a puppy. Sorry to rain on that parade but noooo thanks!
17. He's had over 8 surgeries.
18. He doesn't have a Facebook, but he does some occasional stalking through mine.
19. He has 2 cell phones. One for work, one for personal. Maddness!
20. He's not a fan of going to movies at the theater. Crazy person.
21. He has one brother and one sister.
22. He has lived in Idaho all 24 years of his life unless you count the few months he worked in Montana.
23. He has glasses but never wears them. Which is really too bad because they are HOT!
24. He is 24 years old. ha!
