33 weeks

not much to update here.

(i am now almost 34 weeks)

i had a doctors appointment yesterday and everything is looking good!

i go back in 2 weeks and then (hopefully) my appointments will be every week after that! 

how crazy!!

it seems like time flies between the every 3 week appointments 

so i'm sure it's going to go by that much faster now! 

we got our maternity pictures taken this weekend!!

she's only posted one teaser on facebook but i can't wait to see the rest!!

pictures are always so stressful!! 

i couldn't decide what to wear and didn't end up feeling very cute 

but we had a lot of fun taking them and i think they will turn out great!

now the wait to get them back might kill me!!!

32 weeks

here's what we've been up to in week 32 of pregnancy....

these weekly pictures just keep getting more and more haggard. 

i'm going to stay dedicated to taking them though!!

i got all of my thank you cards sent out!!

went on a little date night with favorite guy (well both of them ;)) to this new mexican restaurant that i've become slightly addicted to... 

we got baby "k"s dresser moved into his room. i just need to paint it (and dust it obviously). don't mind the fact that there are little bows on it haha. oops!! 

now for the totally crappy part of this week. 

someone (no idea who) did this /\ to the hood of brandens truck. 

no idea what they did or how it happened but now we get to pay to get a whole new hood. 

ticked. 

and for the BEST part of the week--

i entered to win a free photo session with uptownphotography and i won!!!

seriously so happy. 

i wasn't planning on doing maternity pictures because hello they are expensive and clearly i don't have money to be wasting 

(this baby business is expensive!! especially when you have awesome insurance [hint the sarcasm])  

(oh and especially when you get to buy a new hood for your truck)

so winning this was seriously a big deal!!

we are getting our pictures done this saturday and i can't wait!!

now i just need to figure out something cute to wear...

decisions, decisions...

31 weeks

i never get around to posting these on time. 

today i am like 31 weeks and 6 days (or something?)

basically--- i have like 8 weeks to go!!

it's crazy!!

31 weeks hasn't brought anything new. 

still no stretch marks on my stomach. yay! 

it seems like i'm just carrying this little guy really low and maybe he's laying more towards my back because i still don't have a big ole belly! 

the doctor says i'm still measuring with my due date though. so that is good. 

something kinda funny- my belly button is about to be nonexistant. i've always had kind of a flat belly button but now that it's starting to stretch out, i swear it's going to be completely flat in a matter of weeks. definitely weird looking ha.

nursery update---

the room is almost completely cleaned out!!! 

the other day branden helped me put the first coat of paint on one of the walls and a few days later when i got home from work he had surprised me by doing the second coat!!

seriously love that guy :))

baby shower

this weekend was my baby shower!

my sister ashley and friend jessica threw it for me 

(with help from mine, branden's, and jessica's families, thanks everyone!!)

we did a "camping" themed shower and it turned out so cute!!

i didn't take as many pictures as i should have....(totally regretting that!!) but here are a few of what i did take!! 

the dessert table--- we had the cutest smores cupcakes, worm cupcakes, muddy buddies, and sugar cookies (my favorite were the little camp trailers!!)

it all turned out so cute!! 

we had a baked potato bar that everyone could make their own baked potatoes and put whatever topping on them that they wanted. (no pics)

i didn't think to take a picture until almost everyone had left!!

quite a few people showed up in flannel to go with the camping theme which was fun!

here is me and jessica. she is due exactly a month before me!  

our height difference and the fact that i'm carrying so low makes for a funny picture :)

she's having a little boy too. so they are gonna be best friends. if they want to or not!!

weeks 29 & 30

getting my picture taken every week, while still in normal clothes, is becoming a task. somehow every thursday branden has softball so by the time he gets home i'm in sweats. owell! at least i'm keeping them coming, right?! 

p.s. branden looooves taking these pics every week. ha.ha.ha. not.

anywho-- nothing excited happened in week 29 (or 30). 

I've still had acid reflux but that's about the only symptom. 

i had a dr appointment yesterday. everything is measuring as it should be and i've gained like 23lbs! (which makes your eyes about pop-out-of-your-head every time you stand on the scale and see the number go up, up, up). i do like being able to tell people that though. when i get the "you don't even look pregnant" comment. it's like i've gained 23 lbs!! trust me, there is a growing baby in there!! 

the little guy has been moving around quite a bit the last few days. last night i swear his foot(?) was about to pop out right next to my rib. craziness. 

luckily i haven't gotten any stretch marks on my stomach yet. 

i've gotten them on my sides though :( i knew that was gonna happen. i've had stretch marks since high school so no big surprise there. 

if i can make it the full 40 weeks without getting any on my stomach i will be very surprised. 

and VERY happy!!! 

my baby shower is this weekend. good thing "baby k"s room is getting cleaner and cleaner every day!! i have one more coat of paint to put on one wall and a desk to move out and things should be ready to be moved in!!  

hopefully soon i will be able to post a nursery update.
