our trip to arizona!

back in september i planned a trip down to arizona

and finally after weeks of waiting we got to go down and visit my family!

he slept the whole drive down to utah and i had planned a late flight so he would hopefully sleep the whole time.

well i made the mistake of getting to the airport almost 2 hours early and had to try and entertain a busy little boy until we could board the plane!

thankfully there was a whole wing of the airport that was empty because there weren't that many flights that late. 

don't judge me for letting my baby crawl around on an airport floor haha

trust me--- you'd do the same thing!

he ended up staying awake for the entire flight, but he was pretty good so i can't complain.

the next morning we drove up to heber to visit my grandma.

we ended up being in the car driving more than we were actually there but it was still good to be able to go to lunch and catch up with my grandma!

plus the drive is super pretty--- cactus's everywhere for a little while followed by trees eveywhere! i wish i would have snapped a few pictures!!

(one year i would love to get some family pictures taken up in all those trees)

speaking of trees....^^^ 

ashlynn had a halloween party on saturday that we stopped by to say hi.

this is in front of her dads house. 

all these trees in the background were just begging for a photo opt! 

saturday night we also went to a trunk-or-treat and chili cook off down at the church!

krozby wore his skeleton pj's and i didn't take any pics!

we got to hang out in the sunday school class my dad and shye teach

so that was fun!

monday we were able to attend the phoenix temple open house

it was really pretty!!

krozby was a busy bug but he did pretty good going through :)

monday night kristopher, sara, and ryder came over!!

it had been about 8 months since we had seen each other!

look how much the babies have grown!

haha i love how they are pretty much posing the same in both pics!

and of course we needed a pic with the mamas and the babes!

plus i just love this lady!!

i say it all the time, but we would be BFFL if we lived closer!

haha but for now we can be besties from afar ;)

tuesday we mostly just relaxed! 

it was nice!

we did go to one of the many malls down there,

which was awesome because their shopping is so much better!

plus i totally SCORED and got krozby a bunch of t-shirts that are

the same brand that branden wears all the time!!

basically i'm super excited for him to wear all of these!!!

i was dying when i found them!!

tuesday night we watched the movie

if you haven't seen it, go watch it right now! 

i've seen it a few times and pretty much crack up during the entire thing!

wednesday we had a get together with the whole mcclendon family!

we had dinner and carved pumpkins!

krozby was pretty obsessed with these pumpkins!

instead of carving any super rad designs we decided to cut out leg holes

and stick the babies inside the pumpkins haha

so ryder was definitely not happy with the whole idea!!

krozby... didn't really care either way haha

the next day we had to leave and head back to the cold!

krozby did great on the flight and slept the whole time.

it was so much nicer than the flight down.

i loved being able to spend time with my family and friends!

wish it could happen much more often!!
