that one time i got thrown up on, 3 times....

i guess you can give me my official mom badge.

i've now been thrown up on 3 times!

my poor little babe had a stomach bug last week and projectile vomited 3 times throughout the week. 

for a baby who never even spits up, seeing projectile puke come out of him was SO sad!

at first i thought he was allergic to the formula i was supplementing with but the third time he threw up he hadn't even had formula that day. so apparently he caught the bug. 

he ended up getting a late night bath two days in a row because of it!

and i ended up sleeping without sheets the second night haha

poor guy!

even amidst all the puke he was still a happy guy!

(have i said puke enough yet? puke. haha)

so that was loads of fun--- not. 

what was fun though-- the spring fair.

to be honest the spring fair isn't the most exciting thing ever but it is something to do and we did have some fun...

this weekend we took a little road trip to utah for my favorite 1 year old nephew's birthday party.

we decided to go to the gateway mall while we were in utah

(how cute is my little shopping buddy???)

so there we were, taking mirror selfies at forever 21, and i saw a celebrity!

ok, ok.... she's really not that famous, but if you are a die hard bachelor fan (like me) then you would have been totally star struck, too!! 

anyway- i was star struck and ran to tell jaylen. well my home girl, michelle booked it out of forever 21 before i could even snap a photo!

luckily for us, we saw her again!

this time she was in a shoe store.

i was a stalker and a major creep and took a picture of her...

if i wasn't such a chicken i would have asked for a picture with her.

regretfully i am a chicken so this is as good as i got ^^^^

after all of my paparazzi fun we went to my sisters house for taysom's party!

he opened all of his presents and dug into his cake.

pretty sure he liked it :)

nope, i did not cut it. 

i've had extensions for the last few years and i took them out last week.

^^^^this is how i was feeling about it at first^^^^

but i am starting to kinda like the short hair. 

i might keep it this way for a week or two---- or three....

i'll just have to roll with it ;)

Krozby 3 months old

my baby is officially 3 months old!

it's so crazy to think that just 3 short months ago we didn't have him. 

it's gone by so fast, but at the same time it feels like we've never not had him.

i don't think he's gotten any chunkier in the last month 

but he may have grown a little in height. 

he might end up being a tall, skinny boy like his daddy!

this weekend i got all of his newborn clothes washed and organized so i can pack them up and put them in storage... sad day!!  

it's so sad how tiny all of his newborn clothes are!

some of his stuff he only wore once, like his christmas sweater :(

I realllllllllly wished that krozby would end up having branden's blue/green eyes but he ended up with mine 100%. 

but i have to admit, especially in pictures like this, i love his big, dark, eyes!

sometimes when i shower, i make krozby a bed in the bathroom so he can hang out with me haha

this is his go-to sleeping position.

it's always arms above the head!!

i was teaching him the art of a "selfie" haha

this was a rare occasion where he didn't have his mohawk!

obviously he is cute either way, but for now i'm team mohawk :)

we've been enjoying snapchat these days....

especially when branden sends me cute snaps like this one^^^

at 3 months old krozby...

still eats 3 1/2 oz every 3 hours

wears size 1 diapers 

wears 3 month clothes 

smiles all the time

loves to blow spit bubbles

constantly has his hands in his mouth

sleeps through the night (usually)

goals for month 4----

* get better at holding his head up (that thing is heavy!)

*have him start sleeping in his crib more

*possibly roll over on his own?

we'll see....

pumping my life away...

from the first week krozby came home from the hospital to now i have been exclusively pumping. we tried the whole breastfeeding thing but gave up after about 4 days. 

he would just fight it the entire time and i would get frustrated and give up. 

i probably could have toughed it out and kept trying but i knew i was going to be going back to work in 6 weeks, so he would end up having to be fed out of a bottle anyway, so pumping was the way to go. 

to be honest i hate pumping. 

not sure if there is anyone out there who likes it.

but i do love that he still gets breast milk and it is free!

not having to buy formula is soooo nice. 

in the beginning i was pumping about 4 times a day. for a while there, i was getting tons of milk and my freezer is now stocked up with probably 40ish bags of frozen milk. 

due to the hectic january we were dealt and then me going back to work, pumping 4 times a day just wasn't realistic anymore. 

now i pump 3 times a day. once when i wake up, once around 3-4pm, and then again before bed.

honestly pumping is such a hassle but really worth it. 

i know this post was reallllly random but i just figured i'd share my opinion to anyone out there about to have a baby. 

if breast feeding doesn't work out for you, pumping is the next best thing!

i plan on pumping as long as i have milk. 

hopefully i can make it the full year!

....and then i will be more than happy to say see ya! to my best friend aka my pump ;)

happy monday everyone! 

i haven't done a random post in a while.

 most of them are about my main man, krozby. which is cool, because he's pretty awesome! 

so anway---what's new with me?

-i've been enjoying quite a few television shows lately... my dvr is usually full with good stuff to watch. and by good stuff i mean: the bachelor, the voice, american idol, nashville, are you the one, teen mom, parenthood, grey's anatomy, the vampire diaries... the list goes on....

am i the only one who watches a crap load of tv?? not to mention, quite a bit of trashy tv?

teen mom? are you the one? the bachelor? some of my favorites, but come on! trashy tv!

love it. 

-i have 2 cavities that need to be filled, but i've been putting off getting that scheduled because that just suuuucks! wahh. 

-we haven't had much snow this winter. which i love. like usual, i've been wearing flip flops on the daily. 

-i broke my permanent bottom retainer last week and i think my teeth are starting to move...

-does anyone love snapchat? i've had it forevvver but just recently decided that i like it. 

-i finally started taking down my christmas tree last week. got all the ornaments off and put away. the tree is still up.... failure. 

-i don't understand why people change their phone numbers so much. i work as a receptionist and our clients are constantly calling to give us their new digits. i've had the same phone number since high school. i'm sure they have their reasons, but what a pain... 

-i tried to give up soda a few weeks ago. that lasted one day. serious. 

one. day. 

i have no self control. it's just too good...

-i've noticed a lot lately that music triggers my memories like crazy. i'll be driving with branden and a song will come on and i'll say "doesn't this remind you of..." and it never does ha. but really my brain does that all the time. good and bad. 

-since going back to work (boo) i only work 3 days a week (yay) so my monday's are really like my wednesday's. tis good. 

that's about as random as you can get.
