this sad little blog of mine has been in major neglect mode lately!
i need to get my butt in gear with updating it!!
but-- right now i want to do a little post on something that i have been up to.
ISAGENIX
my step-mom started this program a few months ago and loves it
so she wanted me to give it a try!
i'm hoping to lose some weight and tone up!
a lot of people say "you have NO weight to lose!"
but you would be surprised how well your clothes hide your body fat!
i want to look GOOD without my clothes on!! haha ;)
so anyway... i'm doing a 30 day trial (30 day money back guarantee!)
to see if i like it and if i get good results.
i want to use my little blog as a place to document my progress and keep track of my results!!
i took a before pic but i won't be posting it unless i have a smokin after pic next to it!
today is day 7 of being on the program!
here's my thoughts so far--
PROS
i like having a set schedule on what to eat
i drink 2 shakes a day and 1 meal of my choice (400-600 cal)-- i like this because the shakes are super easy and you don't have to worry about if you're eating what you should be-- because it's already done for you!
when i do eat the one meal of my choice it's really easy to enjoy the HEALTHY stuff that i used to not love. aka VEGGIES!
i have found that this program is easy for me to stay committed to! which is great because anytime i have tried getting in shape before, it was so easy to quit.
i entered the "isabody challenge" where i could potentially win $25,000 at the end of 16 weeks!
CONS
drinking a shake twice a day in the place of 2 meals takes some getting used to.
the flavor or the shakes also takes some getting used to.
you're supposed to drink the shake within 10 minutes of making it. sometimes i am choking those suckers down!!
that's about the only cons i have so far. and i am getting more used to drinking the shakes everyday. sorta ;)
let's be 100% real though-- i miss my taco bell!! the struggle.

i have never ate so healthy in my life!
i haven't had a coke in almost a week (used to have at least 1 or more a day!)
i haven't drank anything other than water for almost a week, which is pretty huge because i love soda and juice and pretty much all that tastey stuff!
i have done some kind of exercise almost every day since i've started!
when i went out to dinner with family, i only had 1 trip to the salad bar!
so that's my thoughts for now!! i'll probably check in and update on it every week or so!
i just weighed myself this morning... and since starting i have lost
3 lbs!
that may not seem huge, but i think 3 lbs in a week is great!
