9 month photo shoot

i just got the pictures back from krozby's

9 month photo shoot!!

they are some of my favorite of all the pictures we've had taken.

3 years

this last week branden and i celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary!

it fell on a wednesday this year, so we didn't do anything super exciting haha

we dropped krozby off at branden's parents house and went to dinner

this is the only picture we got!!

...and it's freaking blurry for some reason!!

(my computer is so screwed up right now!!! it's making me crazy)

anyway---

krozby 9 months

^^^this is as good as our "monthy" photoshoot was gonna get^^^

another month down!!

3 more month until we have a 1 year old....

...and 3 more month until we don't have to buy formula anymore!

that's exciting, people!

that stuff gets spendy.

at 9 months krozby----

-army crawls but still mostly rolls everywhere

-eats 6 ounces every 3 hours

-has baby food 2-3 times a day 

-eats little bites of our food whenever it's "baby friendly"

-is in size 2 & 3 diapers (still using up the 2's but wears 3's for overnight)

-loves his voice! he screams so loud, it's really funny.

-goes to bed around 8:30-9 and wakes up anywhere between 7:30-8:30

-usually takes 2 good naps a day

-babbles, says mama & dada

-wears 6-9month & 9month clothes

-loves to play with anything that he shouldn't

-is kind of sensitive [ex. if he sees me and branden play fighting he panics, or if anyone screams or pretends to cry, he cries!]

krozby had his 9 month check up today

weight: 16lbs 10oz (3rd percentile)

height: 27 3/4 (32nd percentile)

head: 46 1/2 (81st percentile)

he didn't have any routine vaccinations today but they gave him a flu shot and he's spent most of the night being really fussy :(

he's sleeping now so hopefully when he wakes up he'll be  back to being my happy boy!

A whole lot of FAIR fun!

the blackfoot fair is one of my favorite times of the year!

once again, this year didn't disappoint!

we went monday (it was packed because it was labor day)

but still we had fun!

later monday night branden and i decided to go to the rodeo

it was a really fun date night!!

love my hubs!

i went again thursday during the day with my friend, jessica.

(we make a girls trip up together every year)

we watched a magic show and guess who got pulled up on stage?

i did. 

haha just my luck. 

he ended up using me to do some "voodoo" magic.

unfortunately i was blindfolded the entire time so i didn't get to see anything that was going on. but apparently he put acupuncture needles through the skin of my arms ha! 

it was interesting. 

i did get a free t-shirt out of it though!

bonus.

we also watched this escape artist.

it was pretty crazy!!

she went in that tank full of water (completely hand cuffed on her hands and legs) plus the lid had a lock on it that she had to pick. 

she was seriously under water for over 3 minutes. 

i thought she was going to drown.

she made it out alive though! 

thursday night branden and i went back to the fair for the

big & rich concert!

we had such a blast!

they were so much fun to watch!!

(gotta love idaho. sweating during the day, freezing at night!)

finally we decided to make another trip up today (saturday)

for the final time before the fair ended.

this time we came with brandens family and mostly played 

all the carnival games and rode some rides!

we also got a character drawing done but i'm not even gonna post a pic

of it because it turned out not so great.

what a waste of money....

i'm feeling a little broke at this point haha

but we had so much fun so it was all worth it!

Happy Birthday Jacob Mclane

wednesday was jake's 22nd birthday.

we got together with a bunch of branden's family and jake's best friend

for dinner, cake and ice cream.

we all wrote a message on a balloon, sang happy birthday, and released them.

it was really cool to see the balloons get smaller and smaller

and eventually disappear all together.

i like to think they found their way up to heaven. 

happy birthday jake!

we miss you every second of every day
